Spring 2011 YDP Final Report

The Spring YDP season has just finished and Alhambra Region 60 had almost half of our participating teams finish in the top spots. The season started with some rain delays and field closures, but as the season continued teams began to play and our Alhambra players and their teams showed that they were a force in either the Blue or Red Flights.


There were a total of 138 teams ranging from U10 to U19. Teams were split into 66 Blue Flight and 72 Red Flight teams. Alhambra had 13 teams total, with 6 Blue Flight and 7 Red Flight teams. Three of our six Blue Flight teams finished in 1st place and the other three finished in 2nd place. Wow - Great job, Alhambra! Our Red Flight division had 2 teams finish in top 4 (Sam Garcia GU10 and Jerry Beltran BU10).


Congratulations to all the teams and players. Not enough can be said about our great coach volunteers, but the kids would simply not be able to participate, learn nor enjoy the game without the many tireless hours and long suffering from all of you. Cheers to the all the wonderful people behind our fantastic teams that made this possible for our kids.
